This should be the perfect vinyl reissue! The pink and lavender vinyl mirror the colours used in the album art, and are a definite nod to the legions of her gay fans too. Sadly though...This pressing is absolutely below par. The lavender vinyl record is audibly pitted and scuffed. The pink vinyl disc is also scuffed and blemished. Playing both results in a lot of surface noise and in fact, small fragments of vinyl were scraped away by my Ortofon stylus! I am convinced that these discs were pressed by GZ vinyl in the Czech republic because they reek of their poor, low quality pressing standards. I have no idea about the quality of the EU release, but I suspect they'll be just the same - same pressing with different catalogue numbers? Couple that with poor reproduction of the sleeve, including the poster used on the inner gatefold, and it all adds up to a release that I wish I'd not spent my money on!
